Our School
Edge Hill Country School as a Waldorf “initiative” opened in the fall of 1986 as Edge Hill Country Day School. The name Edge Hill has belonged to the stone schoolhouse and site since schooling first began at this crossroads in 1872.
In recent years Edge Hill Country School has developed from a single stone schoolhouse to three school buildings. Small class sizes and a familiar atmosphere for all are two of the key benefits of a country school and, even as the school has grown, these benefits have been maintained.
The school is a non-profit, non-denominational, charitable corporation. Responsibility for various activities within the school is vested in the faculty and the board of trustees.

Parental involvement is always welcomed. A Community Panel serves as a committee of the board to represent and foster the interests of the wider community in the school.
Edge Hill Country School offers classes from JK – Grade 8.
